Tax Audits

Are you being audited by the IRS, the State of New York, or State of New Jersey?

Don’t face them alone. Contact us first.

What is an Audit?

An Audit is an examination of a filed tax return by a Revenue Agent.  Agents review returns and look for inaccuracies, deficiencies, fraud, or other erroneous reporting by the taxpayer, whether intentional or accidental.  Sometimes your tax return is selected for audit randomly and other times because an item on the face your return sends up a red flag.

How we can help.

Antonelli & Antonelli, as your tax attorneys, represent you before, during, and after your audit. You shouldn’t have to face the Revenue Agent alone, risking costly mistakes.  We analyze your situation and produce an individualized strategy to handle the intricacies of every audit.
